Megaproducer Mike Dean has released a limited edition T-shirt featuring a print of him and Kanye West working on The College Dropout. Dean, who has worked on every Kanye West album and whose credits run from Scarface & Geto Boys to Executive Producing Travis Scott’s Astroworld, announced the “Day One” shirt shortly after releasing his first official album last week, 4:20, which was called a “sprawling, pyschedelic symphony” by Rolling Stone. Each purchase of the shirt comes with a free download of 4:20.
All proceeds from the shirt go directly to Homeless / COVID-19 related charities, including Hugs No Slugs in Chicago, Star of Hop Mission for Homes in Houston, YMCA Emergency Community Impact Fund in Los Angeles, and Ramadan Iftar Meals for Astoria/LIC COVID19 Relief. The shirt sizes run from S-2XL, and were designed by Gustavo “Distrolord” Guerra. They are ethically produced in the USA using organic cotton and will only be sold for a limited time. Each shirt costs $40.
The shirts can be bought on Mike Dean’s official website.
