The Northside Festival Draws Thousands To Brooklyn

Thousands descended on Brooklyn for Northside Festival last week and weekend! The innovation and music festival celebrated its 9th year with panels featuring Mayor Bill de Blasio, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, hotelier Ian Schrager, writer Piper Kerman and Kickstarter CEO Yancey Stickler. The music arm of the festival hosted headlining sets by Miguel, Thursday, Dirty Projectors, and Kamasi Washington with over 300 other bands performing throughout Williamsburg and Bushwick including PUP (pictured below). Over the weekend, Williamsburg’s main drag was shut down for the Bedford Block Party with dozens of art installations and a surprise set from Mobb Deep.
